Marvel is still weaving together its long and storied tapestry and its latest strand is just weeks away with The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The final trailer is out and, as expectant as I am of the formula for these kinds of superhero movies, I love the air of uncertainty that comes with the usual excitement. The score is also doing us some pretty cool highs here along with the visuals.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet.
The Fantastic Four opens on July 25. Catch the trailer, and don’t worry. I fully expect Grimm to say that one line. You know the one.
