THE HIT LIST: February 25, 2019

My weekend was spent loading up on questions for certain individuals in movies, so we’ll see what comes of it in the next thirty days. Not to mention a review but…that one comes Tuesday or hopefully sooner.

For now, it’s time to get in some Hits for this week’s installment of The Hit List and we start off with our usual raft of stunt professionals doling out the reel action courtesy of Michaela McAllister whose latest reel is a longer cut from last week. Following along are entries from Yavuz Topuz, Matt Philiben, Eugenia Yurevskaya, Young Kim, Shane Alexander, Beverly Provost, Bryan Dodds, Marlon Perrier, Somnag Chay, Vinny O’Brien, Jimmy Leroy-Schneiter, Colby Lenmo, Philippe Phengrasmay and Niklas Eriksson.

As for promotional gems we have just two items on the table for now, the first of which arrives in a first teaser at upcoming Wolf Stunts stunt-loaded short, Go For Broke. The second is an Instagram post pointing to a March release of Nothing Is Sacred – one of several proof of concepts from filmmaker Peter Jang who currently stands as one of this year’s biggest prospects on his way to filmmaking. You can read more about that here.

Time to get some fights going and we begin with a pair of test fights courtesy of Colby Lenmo‘s YouTube channel as we just catch up. Following that is Drunken Love, lensed by Courtney Chen and featuring Lynne Orloff and Timothy Kittlestad, another kung fu comedy array from Martial Club in Expectations V. Reality, David Vuong and Michael Tang with a terrific practice fight over at the Silver Harvest channel, and another reverent, beastial thriller from Bryan Sloyer, Spot.

Kelly Phelan is on the run in Kelly’s Escape from The Chamberlain Brothers, Tanguy Guinchard faces the law of the jungle in the action adventure, Chikuzo, episode two of Unworthy Productions’s highly-celebrated Power Rangers: Unworthy series, and the long-awaited release of Jyo Carolino’s 6-chapter tragic tale of stoic vengeance, I Am Spartan.

Enjoy the hits!
