Calvin Tong’s crime thriller debut, The Trier Of Fact, has a first look trailer now online. The film rejoins Call Of Heroes actors Louis Koo and Eddie Peng, which is a bit of a facelift following its announcement in 2019 when Nick Cheung was cast at the time.
The Trier Of Fact centers on a maverick detective named Che (Koo), and Guo (Peng) a crime division officer appointed by his superiors to assist him, as they pursue the criminal activities of a ruthless drug lord. At one point just when Che believes he’s reached the end of his investigation, he uncovers a new twist revealing Guo’s involvement.
Koo’s sales outlet, One Cool Film, revealed the trailer and latest poster at FilMart on Monday which you can view below.
