Director Jesse V. Johnson is reteaming with his Chief Of Station actor Aaron Eckhart this month for Thieves Highway. Vertical Entertainment is heading the film’s theatrical release on December 12, followed by a digital rollout on December 16.
After a deadly confrontation, lawman Frank Bennett (Aaron Eckhart) uncovers a massive smuggling operation. Cut off from cell service and stranded without his truck, Frank is forced to take on a dangerous gang led by a deranged ex-military commander. Stopping them before they reach the border isn’t just his duty, it’s his only shot at survival.
