City On Fire recently began taking notice of the goings-on in Busan as of late with several set photos now online. The pictorals feature kung fu cinema stalwarts Cassanova Wong (Enter The Invincible Hero, City Ninja) and Won Jin (Operation Scorpio) who are revealed to now be shooting Tiger’s Trigger, marking their first on-screen appearance together.

More news is to come, undoubtedly, but this is a welcome feat for anyone of the genre, especially for fans of Wong who stands among a pantheon of yesteryear martial arts cinema greats, including Hwang Jang-lee, Moon Kyoung-seok (a.k.a. Dragon Lee), and the legendary Warriors Two and Iron-Fisted Monk co-hort Sammo Hung.

The same equally speaks for Won Jin who, apart from teaching martial arts in the U.S. with the likes of instructor Eric Kovaleski, has also continued to pursue work on both sides of the lens. Select credits, respectively as actor and/or martial arts director/choreographer include the My Wife Is A Gangster trilogy, China Strike Force, Won Shin-yeon’s The Suspect, Kwon Bob: Chinatown, and The Battle: Roar to Victory.

More to come…
