UPGRADE Limited Edition Coming November 18 From Second Sight Films

Director Leigh Whannell may be done filming his latest Universal Classic Monster revival, The Invisible Man, but there’s still a discernible corner of internet fandom still very much lit up by the brilliance and stimulating spectacle in his 2018 sci-fi thriller, Upgrade.

For those fans and folks able, UK-based Second Sight Films is proudly reigniting the fervor with releases of a limited edition on November 18 with pre-orders already running. Believe it’s an early treat ahead of whatever may come for the future of this particular sci-fi hinted by producer Jason Blum just over a year ago on Twitter which I am certainly taking at his word.

Read on, and BUY NOW!

In a near-future world, where technology controls everything, technophobe Grey Trace is the victim of a brutal mugging that leaves his wife dead and him paralyzed. A reclusive billionaire inventor offers him an experimental cure, an A.I. implant called STEM. Grey accepts and is immediately transformed into an unstoppable killing machine with enhanced strength and agility. Now it’s payback time.

This hugely successful collaboration between genre specialists Blumhouse and the creator of the Saw franchise has become an instant cyberpunk classic.
