THE LAST WITCH HUNTER Sets Up Shop In Pennsylvania
Director James Wan is almost complete filming Fast And Furious 7, which may precede with actor Vin Diesel‘s newest adventure with the Summit Entertainment/Lionsgate’s new film, The Last Witch Hunter this summer. Production did take a while to start, however, with the tragic car crash that killed Fast And Furious 7 co-star Paul Walker back in late November during holiday break, which forced both films to be put on hold at the time.
Starring Diesel with more names to be added, The Last Witch Hunter centers on an immortal witch hunter who ironically ends up partnering with a witch to stop the covens of New York City from unleashing a plague on mankind. The production has already begun setting up camp in Allegheny county in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the backdrop for film’s New York City setting, which in turn, also grants the production a $14,088,820 tax credit for the film’s six hundred employees, which amounts the film’s budget somewhere in the ballpark of $56,355,280, based on Pennsylvania’s 25-percent policy.
