The Second Trailer For ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY Gives You Hope
Yesterday’s poster reveal was nothing short of exciting this week in lieu of the upcoming second trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Thus, it has now arrived for your viewing below, and having undergone its share of targeted reshoots to improve the film even after the first trailer back in April, I’d say pretty much that nothing has changed, really. The hype and support are still definitely there as are the chances of some major box office success equal or just as significant as previous canon releases.
SYNOPSIS:
In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
The film opens on December 16, leaving at least another year before the next canon follow-up, Star Wars VIII opens theatrically and testing the economic might of the movie going public. We’ll see how this one does though, as good as it looks so far with respect to its place in the saga and overall vision in general; The attention to detail with specific characters, costumes, lensing, set pieces and performances really lend a richness in the tone thusfar, so my own expectations are pretty positive here.
