A LOT OF NOTHING Sees A Desperate Act Of Justice Unfold In The Official Trailer

It comes as a little daunting that art still tends to imitate life at times. Mo McCrae’s new crime drama seems no different with police brutality still so topical in everyday life, and thus, we have A Lot Of Nothing, another conversation starter at best.

James and Vanessa seem to be the perfect couple – happily married, successful, and comfortable. One night, their lives are rocked to the core when, after watching a tragedy play out on the evening news, they realize their neighbor was involved. In a state of shock, and with opposing viewpoints on how to address the issue, they decide to seek justice against a neighbor.

The official trailer is online and in it, therein lies other crucial subject matter pertaining to race and class, all which are imaginably just as pertinent and viable to the kind of story outlined in the logline above.

A Lot Of Nothing stars Y’lan Noel, Cleopatra Coleman, Justin Hartley, Shamier Anderson, and Lex Scott Davis, and is written by McCrae and co-scribe Sarah Kelly Kaplan. The film releases in theaters and on VOD on February 3.
