Acclaimed fight choreographer Vlad Rimburg and producer Travis Wong have a very special shortfilm action webseries series happening right now over on the official portal for martial arts and parkour sports channel, Flow. Initially, I wrote about the series back in March when I originally thought it was a standalone shortfilm, and apparently this is a much more major project than I expected. Needless to say, as far as hidden internet gems go, I defy anyone to be unimpressed here.
Actor Jimmy Chhiu stars in what are now four installations of Flow’s “Duel” series called The Hunt, featuring a shorthand story that initially began with two supreme warriors gods who end up landing on Earth while doing battle. Chhiu plays Jayavarman, the Supreme Hunter, who eventually takes his fight to Earth’s greatest human opponents in the ultimate search for his successor. The remaining cast includes a number of actors who perform as professional screenfighters based out in Los Angeles, including Gui DaSilva, Brendon Huor, Dennis Ruel, Michael Lehr, Andy Le and many more.
