Actress Maria Tran Talks DEATH MIST With Behind The Scenes Footage!

From L to R: Xin Wuku, Maria Tran, Trung Ly and Daniel Whyte on the set of DEATH MIST

Earlier details were scant prior to the period upon which familar faces from Jackie Chan Presents: Wushu helmer director Antony Szeto‘s Roger Corman-produced 90’s revival, Fist Of The Dragon, reunited this year for what were once said to be “reshoots”. However, with time passing, the process changed as the aforementioned agenda then went from “reshoots” to a work-up of a fresh new film now on the way titled Death Mist, according to an earlier report from Impact.

Filming has since wrapped for Death Mist is currently in post-production with Szeto back in the director’s chair with co-director Riu Min-qin and reunites much of the principle cast and crew from his earlier film; MMA star and actor Josh Thompson will star as Damon, a UFC champ who ventures deep in the Chinese criminal underworld with the help of friend, Tom, to avenge the death of a fighter and uncover the secrets behind a mysterious drug. Also starring are actors Jonny Blu, Daniel Whyte, EMC Monkeys frontman – actor Xin Wuku (Die Fighting) and famous Bruce impersonator and Asian cinema action legend Bruce Liang (Badges Of Fury, Gallants).
Also starring is actress Maria Tran who can now be seen in a brand new video interview with Asian Movie Pulse’s own Justyn Hughes where she discusses details on her role, the process of filmmaking, reuniting with Szeto and action director Trung Ly, and much more. The film is also preparing its promotional campaign going into the new year via a new Facebook page with plenty of information on the film as it trickles in the months leading up to the film’s release.
