Being a theatrical rendition of a popular television show, some of the larger talk revolved around the actress’s bold approach to her role, particularly with not having seen the show prior to filming, and ultimately choosing to observe a fresher, more updated, headstrong, gentle and glamorous approach to her character. She also attributed the challenges of her performance to the emotional volume of her role, and also described her time on set with her character as an unforgettable experience.
Crimes Of Passion also stars Huang Xiaoming and Korean actor Jae Hee, and is directed by Gao Qunshu with a domestic release date set for August 13, 2013.
