Ben Brewer, the award-winning commercial and music video director and VFX artist (Everything Everywhere All At Once) who made his feature film debut with the SXSW competition title The Trust, starring Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood, now takes the mantle for his newest effort, Arcadian.

Currently in post-production, the new survival action thriller – formerly known as Sand And Stones – reteams Brewer with lead actor Cage, who can now be seen in a first-look photo just above from Highland Film Group, who’ve just launched sales at EFM this week. Also starring are Jaeden Martell (Warner Bros.’ It, Lionsgate’s Knives Out), Maxwell Jenkins (Apple TV’s “Dear Edward,” Netflix’s “Lost in Space”) and Sadie Soverall (Netflix’s “Fate: The Winx Saga,” Amazon’s Saltburn).

Penned by Michael Nilon (Saban Films’ Braven starring Jason Momoa), Arcadian is set in a post-apocalyptic and sparsely populated world, where Paul (Cage) and his twin teenage sons, Joseph (Martell) and Thomas (Jenkins), have managed to claw out an existence yet they live in constant fear. When they are confronted by imminent danger, they must execute a desperate plan to survive.

Saturn Films’ Cage is producing next to Nilon, Redline Entertainment’s David Wulf (Call Jane, The Card Counter, Inheritance) and Highland Film Group’s Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier, alongside Braxton Pope (The Card Counter, The Trust).

Cage, who is also set to receive Variety Magazine’s Variety Legend & Groundbreaker Award at the Miami Film Festival on March 5, is also the subject of Capstone Studios’ international sales on Yuval Adler’s new psychological thriller, Sympathy For The Devil, starring with Joel Kinnaman for the pic from Capstone Global and Hammerstone Studios. The actor will also star alongside Maika Monroe in horror thriller, Longlegs for director Osgood Perkins, and be seen soon in theaters with actor Nicholas Hoult in Universal’s Spring release, Renfield.
