Armie Hammer War Actioner, MINE, Lands At Well Go USA For Fall 2016 Release

Award-winning Sitges favorites, directors Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro found themselves at an opportune moment to stand out even further since making noise in 2008 for their short, Afterville. Since then after having written and produced Enrico Nasino’s True Love, the former two landed their big casting moment a few years ago with actor Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger, The Social Network) for their latest military action movie, Mine, and now the film is on deck for a Fall 2016 release.

Well Go USA put the good word out in their latest announcement below:

Dallas, TX (July 7, 2016) – Well Go USA Entertainment announced its acquisition of North American rights for Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro’s MINE, starring Armie Hammer and produced by Peter Safran’s The Safran Company (THE CONJURING, ANNABELLE, BURIED).

MINE is an action-packed military thriller starring Armie Hammer (FREE FIRE, THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E., THE BIRTH OF A NATION) as a U.S. soldier who, stranded after a mission goes awry, must single-handedly battle for survival against his enemies, the unforgiving desert environment, and the creeping psychological toll of his treacherous situation. The film co-stars Annabelle Wallis (ANNABELLE, THE MUMMY) and Tom Cullen (WEEKEND).

A theatrical, digital, and home video release throughout the US and Canada will follow the film’s debut on the fall festival circuit.

“An excellent thriller can surprise and shock audiences, and MINE is a great example of that,” said Doris Pfardrescher, President and CEO of Well Go USA Entertainment. “It’s a raw and unnerving genre film with an angle that will resonate with fans,” she said.

MINE was written and directed by Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro and produced by Peter Safran. MINE was produced by The Safran Company in association with Roxbury, Poznan Film Group, and Sun Film. Executive producers are Armie Hammer, Miguel Angel Faura, Natalia Safran, Fabio Guaglione, and Fabio Resinaro. The deal was negotiated by Dylan Marchetti on behalf of Well Go USA Entertainment and Joe Austin of WME on behalf of The Safran Company.
