More than three decades after launching a cult phenomenon to the world of sci-fi forever, the Terminator franchise is rebooting this summer for the first of a fresh new trilogy, Terminator: Genisys. The film featuring a brand new slate of actors filling in key roles from the previous films, with Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney starring alongside actor Arnold Schwarzenegger whose presence aims to further validates the new trilogy. Granted, it’s likely not an easy task to achieve, but Paramount and Skydance are aiming at great lengths to help make this one work in the face of critics and moviegoers who might not be uneasy about the reboot. As always though, there’s plenty of potential here and particularly with the technology at hand in bringing sci-fi auteur James Cameron’s futuristic brainchild to life once more.
