It’s a bit of a challenge these days to see which productions will stick and won’t given the recent pandemic news. That’s not stopping the movie news though, and there is some casting news out with Deadline giving the goods now on Assault On VA-33 from director Christopher Ray (Mercenaries, FraXtur).

Flanery won’t be alone in the headlining cast of heavy hitters with a cast that further lists Michael Jai White (Triple Threat, The Hard Way), Mark Dacascos (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, The Driver), and Rob Van Dam (Bloodmoon, Wrong Side Of Town).

Also starring are Abigail Hawk (Blue Bloods) and Weston Cage Coppola (Circus Kane), as well as Gina Holden, Brittany Underwood, Max Adler, Richard Gabai and Gerald Webb. Ray is producing the pic through his DeIinstitutionalized LLC label with managing partner Gerald Webb.

Flanery will soon appear in Michael Cassie’s new horror thriller led by Thomas Jane in Hunter’s Moon from Lionsgate Home Entertainment later this month. Currently in post-production is Flanery’s upcoming role in Alex Ranarivelo’s Mickey Kelley which is in post-production, as well as in Shaun Paul Piccinino’s pending release, American Fighter, starring George Kosturos and

White has been endeavoring his own film labor of late as he’s in post-production with spirited Black Dynamite successor, The Outlaw Johnny Black, from Jaigantic Entertainment. He will soon star next to actors Mickey Rourke, Paul Sloan and actress Gillian Waters-White in Christian Sesma’s new thriller, Take Down, currently in pre-production.

Dacascos, the star of Lionsgate’s The Driver, is expected to appear in Wych Kaosayananda’s upcoming revenge noir, One Night In Bangkok, which is currently in post-production from Kaos Entertainment. The actor may also soon be seen in reunion with Crying Freeman and The Brotherhood Of The Wolf director Christopher Gans for period adventure, Corto Maltese.
