[UPDATED] AVENGERS: ENDGAME Trailer Reassures It’s All Come Down To This!

UPDATE (4:33pm EST): Marvel responded to fan backlash on Thursday by releasing an amended official poster for Avengers: Endgame, this time adding actress Danai Gurira’s name to the roster. The film marks Gurira’s third Marvel MCU appearance following Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, recurring in the role of Okoye, a member of Wakanda’s elite special forces unit, the Dora Milaje.

EARLIER: Captain Marvel is making the rounds in theaters by now and on that note, the latest trailer for Avengers: Endgame is now online ahead of its April 26 release. The Russo Brothers are at the helm for what looks to be the last chapter for this particular canon of the MCU with Brie Larson’s own superhero stint connecting its own share of dots to weave the Marvel movie tapestry some.

The trailer definitely reveals a bit from last year’s Infinity War so if you haven’t seen it yet or if it still matters, by all accounts, make sure you check it out – as that’s been the case for the last ten years with the studio asserting the value in seeing these films when they arise…easter eggs and such. That’s supposed to be part of the fun, anyway, and even if some of these films don’t rate as high as others for some critics (discounting the trolls, of course.)

At any rate, there’s a story here. You know the heroes, the villains, the torment they share, and very much so the score that needs settling. Cue the dramatic flashbacks. Cue the new uniforms, and returning characters…and of course, the newest lynchpin of the superhero team. Quoting at least one stuntman who worked on the film who wrote on Facebook today, I’ll leave this as follows:

None…NONE OF YOU ARE READY!!….YOU…HAVE ….BEEN WARNED!!!

BRACE YOURSELVES!

Hmmkay!
