BARBARIC: Psychological Revenge Thriller Shooting In London Next Month From Director Ranjeet S. Marwa

Two months in to the year, post-production remains pending for director Ranjeet S. Marwa’s latest survival actioner, Exiled: The Chosen Ones, with rousing plans for a sequel already in the works. He is also outlining four more productions going forward, and that no less includes Barbaric, which we previously announced back in December.

That project is now back in play, and is currently circling Indonesian actress Angie Virgin (Taman Lawang, Film Horor) for the lead role, with plans to release the film via streaming later this year. Marwa is directing the new psychological revenge thriller from his own script, and is also producing the film via his Rocket Sky High Motion Pictures Ltd banner next to Djonny Chen of Silent D Pictures.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

When an innocent young woman is drugged and violently raped at a party, the accused believe they have gotten away with their sins. What they fail to realize is that when a person is completely broken, absolutely torn down to the core, they are incapable of being the same person ever again.

The accused soon find out what it means to be accused and pay for their sins. Not even God can help them when the young woman disguises herself to be raped once more, this time she appears as a young innocent girl, but what lies ahead is even more terrifying.

Virgin is still in talks for Barbaric, as I am told. If confirmed, will mark her first return to acting in eight years.

Production is aiming toward a March 29 shoot in London, U.K., prior to Marwa’s plans to reunite with Exiled: The Chosen Ones star Sunny Pang for a small raft of further titles currently in the works, including Blind Rage, Dig Me No Grave, and the hotly-anticipated Blood Rush.
