Bateman, McAdams, Chandler Star In Action Comedy GAME NIGHT, Now Filming

Vacation helmers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are back in the saddle at Warner Bros. Pictures with principal photography is underway in Atlanta, Georgia for the new action comedy, Game Night. Jason Bateman (Horrible Bosses) and Oscar nominee Rachel McAdams (Marvel’s Doctor Strange), are leading a cast from a script by Accepted scribe Mark Perez and with Bateman producing with John Davis, and with Marc S. Fischer, John Fox and James Garavente executive producing.

From New Line Pictures, Game Night stars Bateman and McAdams along with Kyle Chandler (Manchester By The Sea) in the respective roles of Max and Annie, whose weekly couples game night gets kicked up a notch when Max’s charismatic brother, Brooks, arranges a murder mystery party with all the trimmings, including fake thugs and faux federal agents. With the game already underway, Brooks supposedly gets kidnapped which is supposedly part of the “script” as all six uber-competitive participants set out to win, until they slowly come to realize that neither the game nor Brooks are who they appear to be, and everything descends into total chaos.
Rounding out the cast are Billy Magnussen (Bridge of Spies), Sharon Horgan (Amazon’s Catastrophe), Lamorne Morris (TV show New Girl), Jesse Plemons (TV shows Black Mass and Fargo), Kylie Bunbury (TV shows Pitch and Under the Dome) and Michael Cyril Creighton (Spotlight).
