Bautista, Brosnan Tally Mann's FINAL SCORE Starting In August

Fans of actor and Marvel prospect Dave Bautista (Guardians Of The Galaxy 1 & 2, Spectre) aren’t too far off for some big screen time; Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion’s Bushwick is currently in post-production while Matthias Hoene’s Warrior’s Gate opens in China on August 12, ahead of Bautista’s re-envisioning of classic martial arts villain, Tong Po in Kickboxer: Vengeance on September 2 in the U.S.

In the meantime, there’s still news to report on his end, especially if you’ve enjoyed his recent work under director Scott Mann in the 2015 thriller, Heist. Screendaily reports the two will reunite once more along with actor Pierce Brosnan for the new action thriller, Final Score, produced by Signature Entertainment’s Marc Goldberg and The Fyzz Facility’s Robert Jones, James Harris, Mark Lane, and Wayne Marc Godfrey with co-producer Babak Eftekhari.
The Brothers Lynch and Jonathan Frank wrote the script which sees the story of an ex-soldier now fighting to thwart a group of heavily-armed criminals who have taken a live sports arena with 35,000+ attendees hostage, including the daughter of his fallen comrade. Also starring are Alexandra Dinu (Red Valentine) and Julian Cheung (The Grandmaster).

“Final Score may be set in London but truly it’s a story that’s relatable the world over,” said The Fyzz Facility’s Robert Jones.

“Scott Mann’s vision has scale, white knuckle tension, humor and heart. We’re thrilled that the concept and screenplay has attracted such an exciting cast in Dave Bautista, Pierce Brosnan and Julian Cheung, and firmly believe that this will be a standout in 2017’s movie release calendar.”

Executive producing are Elizabeth Williams and global sales rep Highland Film Group’s own Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier, along with Mark Canton, Courtney Solomon, Zac Adler and West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan. Production commences at West Ham’s Upton Park on August 8 before moving to Olympic Stadium in East London later in the year.
