BLACK PANTHER Rules In The First Official Teaser Trailer

Patti Jenkins’s DCEU contribution with Wonder Woman may be ruling the box office for its second weekend, but it’s Marvel that’s riding the wave of hype as of Friday night. Black Panther is finally getting its day in the months leading up to Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War, and with none other than actor Chadwick Boseman making his return to the screen in full Wakandan superhero fashion.
Such is what is now being achieved by the first official teaser trailer debut on Friday night ahead of the film’s February 16, 2018 release – assuring folks following the MCU (especially after Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War) a protagonist that is definitely in service of his own arc much like his fellow hero counterparts. Ryan Coogler, who wrote the film with Joe Robert Cole, directs the film which also rejoins him with Fruitvale Station and Creed star Michael B. Jordan.

Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Also starring are Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. Check out the exceptional trailer below!
