According to Deadline, Vertical Entertainment has acquired English-speaking world rights to the film Blood on Her Name. The film is described as a neo-noir thriller that “follows a single mother (Lind) whose panicked decision to cover up an accidental killing spirals out of control when her conscience demands she return the dead man’s body to his family.”
The film premiered at the Fantasia International Film Festival and stars Bethany Anne Lind (Ozark), Will Patton (Remember the Titans) and Elizabeth Röhm (American Hustle). Matthew Pope not only directs, but also wrote this film with Don M. Thompson.
