BLOODY ESCAPE: Goro Taniguchi’s New Animated Thriller Gets A Propulsive Official Trailer

Cyborg vs Vampires vs Yakuza!
Goro Taniguchi has gone ahead and made the most mental movie you’ve ever seen!

Filmmaker Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass franchise, One Piece Film: Red) is kicking the door down for 2024 with animated feature, Bloody Escape: Flight From Hell (tentative title). The official trailer has arrived as of Friday with a new look at the characters culminating what’s being billed as the director’s premiere “very violent” original action film.

After human experimentation turns Kizaragi into a cyborg, he finds himself pursued by multiple organizations:
An undying coven of vampires bent on the conquest of Tokyo, and an immortal order of knights, and a group of Yakuza, sworn to avenge the killing of their leader.

“I might not have any reason to live, but that’s no reason to let them kill me.”

Kizaragi will have to use his cyborg-body and his unique “blood,” as well as anything else he can to make his big escape!!!

Taniguchi directs from his own script co-written with Shingo Nagai, with a VO cast led in part by Yuki Ono, Reina Ueda, Soma Saito, Yuma Uchida, Satsuki Yukino Satsuki, Masayo Kurata Masayo, and Jun Fukuyama. Character designs are by Koga Yuusuke, and with production/planning by slowcurve.

Bloody Escape: Flight From Hell hails from Polygon Pictures and releases in Japan cinemas beginning January 5 from GAGA.
