Following acquisition announcements in January, the official trailer is now online for Boon, the sequel to the inaugural 2020 crime thriller, Red Stone. Both are directed by Derek Presley who is joined once more by lead actor Neal McDonough, both who penned the pic.
Mercenary Nick Boon (Neal McDonough) is trying to atone for his life as an enforcer for a ruthless syndicate. Running from his past, Boon moves to a remote area in the pacific northwest where he meets a struggling widow (Christiane Seidel) and her son. When he finds the pair living in fear of a criminal kingpin (Tommy Flanagan), Boon realizes the only way to protect them is to do what he does best: Kill.
Also starring are Jason Scott Lee, James Madio, Demetrius Grosse and Christina Ochoa. Cinedigm will release the pic in theaters, and on digital and on demand from April 1.
