BOY KILLS WORLD: Bill Skarsgård Knuckles Up In First Look From Moritz Mohr’s Action Thriller Debut

L.A. based Capstone Global is joining forces with Wayne Fitzjohn and Simone Swart’s Nthibah Pictures, Alex Lebovici’s Hammerstone Studios, Sam Raimi’s Raimi Productions, Roy Lee’s Vertigo Entertainment, Stuart Manashil and Dan Kagan for the sales launch of Boy Kills World starring Bill Skarsgård (Clark, Atomic Blonde) who can now be seen in the official first look still above.

In Boy Kills World, Skarsgård stars in the role of Boy, a deaf mute with a vibrant imagination. When his family is murdered, he is trained by a mysterious shaman to repress his childish imagination and become an instrument of death.

The film is is billed as “a dystopian fever dream action film” with Skarsgård making headlines for his latest lead role in fitting, buffed up form as he readies for another major thriller in Rupert Sanders’ iteration of The Crow which is being repped at the Cannes market by Filmnation.

Mortiz Mohr is directing his first feature which has presently wrapped production, after a three month shoot in Cape Town, South Africa. Arend Remmers and Tyler Burton Smith (Child’s Play) penned the script with Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day), Michelle Dockery, Brett Gelman (“Stranger Things”), Isaiah Mustafa (It Chapter 2), martial arts action star Yayan Ruhian, Nicholas and Cameron Crovetti (“Big Little Lies,” “The Boys”), and Quinn Copeland (“Punky Brewster”), Andrew Koji (Bullet Train, “Warrior”), Sharlto Copely (District 9) and Famke Janssen also starring.

Raimi is producing with Zainab Azizi for Raimi Productions alongside Lee for Vertigo, Swart and Fitzjohn for Nthibah, and Lebovici for Hammerstone. Also producing are Manashil and Kagan with Capstone Chairman and CEO of Christian Mercuri of Capstone, Reza Brojerdi of Ventaro Film and Andrew Childs as exec producing.
