Actor Donnie Yen is signaling John Wick fans as of Wednesday the completion of principal photography of Caine, the latest spin-off in the franchise which launched rolled cameras beginning in April. Yen stars, and also follows suit as director of the pic adding to his resumé in the chair next to recent pics like The Prosecutor, and Sakra.
A release date remains pending for Caine which Yen and John Wick shepherd Chad Stahelski storied for a script by Robert Askins and Mattson Tomlin. Yen takes on the title role once more following his appearance in 2023’s John Wick: Chapter 4, taking place with events after the film in which the titular blind assassin is freed from his obligations to the High Table.
Yen is joined on screen by returning John Wick: Chapter 4 actress Rina Sawayama, as well as new franchise additions Dacre Montgomery, Mason Thames and Bill Nighy. Check out the post below:
