Celebrate #InsurgentFanDay With A Star-Studded Q&A

There’s not much to add that hasn’t already been said about the upcoming release of director Robert Schwentke‘s The Divergent Series: Insurgent. As much of a challenge it is to imagine and interpret already-existing properties with cinematic potential, the live-action adaptation of acclaimed author Veronica Roth’s YA novel franchise has a major cult following especially after last year’s Divergent from director Neil Burger, now working on a production model that other PG-13 action movie franchises are now echoing.

With this, The Divergent Series: Insurgent is the second in a now 3.4 part trilogy from Lionsgate/Summit Entertainment starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Kate Winslet. The film is set to release on March 20 preceding the two-part finale, Allegiant: Part 1 and Allegiant: Part 2, set to arrive in 2016 and 2017 respectively, which should give young adult movie goers and fans of this sprawling coming-of-age sci-fi saga plenty of time to celebrate at the movies. As such, the fans may have more questions about the franchise beyond this point, which now brings us to Insurgent Global Fan Day which kicks off on Thursday, March 5 at 10:30am EST/7:30am PST where fans will take their questions to actress Woodley, actor James and other cast members, as well as Roth herself through several portals.
