Chan Heads Down Under To Begin Filming BLEEDING STEEL

There’s never a moment’s rest, it seems, if you’re action star Jackie Chan. He just wrapped up business in Beijing for the new Dolby Cinema at Jackie Chan Cinema’s Wuekong and now he’s back at it this month with new set pics surfacing from the streets of Sydney, Australia for his latest leading role in Bleeding Steel from Village Roadshow Pictures Asia and Heyi Pictures.

Following announcements last month and marking Chan’s second Sydney-shot film since Who Am I? two decades earlier? the film marks Chrysanthemum to the Beast helmer Leo Zhang’s sophomore offering from his own script, with a story that sees him as a tough special forces agent protecting a young woman from a sinister criminal gang as his mysterious connection with her grows. Production is expected to lap over to Taiwan as well while further details on the film’s all-star cast remain pending.
Chan is currently set to appear in a number of titles between now and next year, including for U.S. audiences with Saban Films’s latest, Skiptrace. Stay tuned for more info!
