Character Actor Spencer Wilding Reportedly Playing Darth Vader In ROGUE ONE

Spencer Wilding towering against Scott Adkins in “Green Street Hooligans: Underground” (2013)

Actor and kickboxer Spencer Wilding is largely known for protraying costumed roles in films like Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014) and Victor Frankentein (2015). However, he’s a better actor than he probably gets credit for and you’re more than welcome to vet that fact for yourself with a good viewing of director James Nunn’s 2013 action drama, Green Street Hooligans: Underground, where he plays one of the best trash-talking and hard-hitting villains you’ll see in a martial arts action flick.

So what’s all the fuss about? Well, I only bring him up as a result of reports from Flickering Myth which now suggest that he’ll be making his own Star Wars entry as the body accomodating James Earl Jones’s defining voice for Darth Vader in Gareth Edwards’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which opens this December. The teaser already rolled out last week and left us a glimpse of Vader’s silhouette while many of us are left with guessing as to what capacity we will see the iconic sci-fi villain in the plot’s current preamble to the 1977 original film, A New Hope.
If you haven’t seen the teaser for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story yet, then CLICK HERE. On a more personal note, if you haven’t seen Green Street Hooligans: Underground yet, I advise you to rent it on VoD or catch it on DVD promptly, or on Netflix. It’s a personal favorite!
