Check Out The New Trailer For CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

Marvel has unveiled its new sneak peek trailer for the upcoming superhero adventure follow-up, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, in addition to some new Cap2 eye candy this month with several character posters which you can now view below courtesy of Yahoo featuring Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford and Sebastian Stan. In addition, the same report from Yahoo also introduced several quotes from its lead actor from their set visit last year, including some information that the film will showcase a more “deadlier” and “dangerous” Captain America than seen in the previous film, with “grisly, and impactful” fights, and even compairing the improvements to the video game.

“Has anyone played the Captain America video game?”, he says. “I love it, and I don’t like video games. And I love it … ’cause I love the way Cap moves. He moves so well, he just beats a–. That’s how the guy needs to be moving. This isn’t just a guy who was given the ability of speed and power. He’s been training. He’s got the frame of mind to absorb this information. So you can only assume with training and his ability, the guy should really be dangerous. And we should show that.” He also added, “Shield use. And acrobatics, too. He’s flipping off things, and spinning and jumping and he’s using his environment and it’s not just punch, punch, kick, kick.”.

SYNOPSIS:

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

Set to release on March 26, 2014 in the U.K. and April 4, 2014 in North America, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the second in a forthcoming trilogy within the Marvel Cinematic Universe prior to the release of The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are set to direct the third Captain America installment as they did the second.
