The film hails from its popularity in 2009 by way of manga author Mikamoto Rei with the story of a girl forced to confront the classmate responsible for turning everyone into a zombie – which essentially means a chaotic melee of chainsaw action and gore that follows. Uchida Rio stars in the title role for the film’s early 2016 festival screenings and subsequent March release in Japan theaters.
