I’m late to the party on this but film fans can now take a gander at Cinderella’s Revenge and the latest casting news announcing Lauren Staerck who will join Natasha Henstride for the new horror/fairytale flick currently in production in England. Andy Edwards (Zombie Spring Breakers) is directing the pic which hails from Sobini Films
In the film, when Cinderella’s (Staerck) wicked step-sisters and Step-Mother push her too far, she swaps her glass slippers for a blood-soaked vengeance with the help of her Fairy Godmother (Henstridge) in this twisted fairytale.
Stephanie Lodge, Beatrice Fletcher, Megan Purvis and Darrell Griggs round out the cast. Mark Amin of Sobini Films is producing along with Mark Lester, Cami Winikoff, and Jessica Mathis.
“Cinderella is the most famous fairy tale in the world. We were able to develop a great horror script that is also a female empowerment story with global appeal,” said Sobini’s Mark Amin.
