2017 is here and first on CJ Entertainment’s agenda is a new title that looks to continue the appeal of moviegoers with some more spectacular action and comedy of the South Korean variety. For this, we have Cooperation, here to help bring things into focus some ahead of its January 18 release from director Kim Sung-Hoon.
SYNOPSIS:
North Korean detective Im Chul Ryung is sent to South Korea to catch Cha Ki Sung, the boss of a North Korean refugee crime organization. There, Chul Ryung cooperates with South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae. For the first time, the two countries cooperate to take down a criminal.
Actor Hyun Bin of Spin Kick and The Fatal Encounter fame pairs alongside Public Enemy franchise and Veteran co-star Yu Hae-Jin for this latest affair which adds a dose or two of slapstick to accomodate the bullets, fisticuffs and high-speed pursuits that ensue.
