Creature Thriller TREMORS: A COLD DAY IN HELL Arrives For Home Release In May!

Since the end of Tremors 5: Bloodlines, a very thrilling installment in South Africa pairing up Michael Gross as the eponymous survivalist Burt Gummer with Jamie Kennedy who portrays Travis Welker, Gummer’s son from an indiscretion with a 1960s liberated woman, people could not get enough of this fairly successful franchise and were looking out for a sixth movie in the works.

According to Michael Gross from his official Facebook page, he had announced that there was going to be a sixth straight-to-DVD release of Tremors 6 back in late 2016. This time, Graboids are being used as weapons in the Arctic and it’s up to Burt and Travis to take care of this new threat at a remote research station.

Originally with a January 2018 release date, Mr. Gross keeps fans updated on his Facebook page with the film’s progress while Syfy works on a new Tremors TV series starring Kevin Bacon which picks up from where the first film ends and ignores all the sequels. More information about that show’s progress will be reported soon. Of course, Gross once led his own short-lived Tremors TV show back in 2003, when Syfy was still the Sci-Fi Channel.

Directed by Don Michael Paul (Tremors 5: Bloodlines, Sniper: Legacy) and written by John Whelpley (Tremors 5: Bloodlines), Tremors 6: A Cold Day In Hell, co-stars Tanya van Graan, Jamie-Lee Money, Jay Anstey, Greg Kriek, Stephanie Schildknecht, Jenna Upton, and Christie Peruso. Produced by Mike Elliot (Woody Woodpecker, Death Race 4: Beyond Anarchy), Tremors 6: A Cold Day In Hell comes out May 1st on DVD and Blu-Ray.

A Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) production by Universal Studios and Universal 1440 Entertainment.
