Another day, another casting announcement for action junkies following updates on the extensive production of The Expendables 3 following its August 15, 2014 release. Expendables Premiere has just reported that veteran actor Robert Davi has now joined the cast-a surprising addition to a blockbuster franchise!
A veteran actor since the 70’s through today, Davi’s television and film credits include T.J. Hooker, The A-Team, The Equalizer, The Goonies, License To Kill, Die Hard and Predator 2 to name a few. Davi is still acting to this day with appearances that also include two action thrillers from director Giorgio Serafini- the Dolph Lundgren actioner Blood Of Redemption and the 2010 action thriller, Game Of Death, featuring lead actor Wesley Snipes.
On that note, I quote the following Expendables Premiere update:
Our good friend Robert Davi joined us on the phone today to break the news that he was cast in the upcoming movie “Expendables 3″!
He’ll be working along Sylvester Stallone, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Jackie Chan and many more! They begin filming soon!
The report also confirms Snipes‘s role in the film with new footage of his arrival in Bulgaria this week, reuniting him with actor Sylvester Stallone since their work on the 1993 sci-fi blockbuster, Demolition Man. Meanwhile, actor Terry Crews has confirmed his own participation in the film with a new photo courtesy of his WhoSay and Facebook pages, posting the message, “ALL HALE CAESAR’S HOME N****Z #EX3”.
Although there are names that still need confirmation, previous reports have also said that Stallone will also be joined by Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Jet Li, Antonio Banderas, Kellan Lutz, Milla Jovovich, Ronda Rousey, Victor Ortiz and Glen Powell. Of course, there will be more news in the days and months ahead, so I will share it all when it comes.
