David Ayer's SUICIDE SQUAD Gets A Spectacular New International Trailer

Should you need further educating on how excited you should be for director David Ayer’s take on DC Comics property, Suicide Squad, just know that it’s so far has one of the best received Comic-Con trailers of the past year next to that of Deadpool. Otherwise, and whatever may have procured from reshoots thereafter, I’m pretty certain this movie is mostly selling itself and surely Ayer will help steer things a bit with Warner Bros. currently in recovery mode after having to remind DC fans that Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice is a worthwhile film…that is, both versions of it.

SYNOPSIS:

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Thus, we get Will Smith, Joel Kinnaman, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Karen Fukuhara, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Cara Delevingne, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach and Viola Davis leading the charge, and of course and much to our approval, some Batman for good measure in a film that also introduces us to a new Joker via actor Jared Leto. This, coupled with big scale action and a plot ripe with enough anti-heroes to get rooting for the bad guy and we could very well be rooting for Ayer to get back in the chair for a sequel. And as good as the trailers keep looking, I hope so, at least.
