DHAAKAD: Don’t Miss The Stabby, Shooty, Screamy, Bloody, Punchy, Kicky And Explody New Trailer Ahead Of Its Release This Week

Indian cinema is the gift that keeps on giving, especially if you’re a Westerner and not so easily exposed to news of a different language, and so I have to thank Twitter follow Al Tran for bringing director Razneesh Ghai’s Dhaakad to my attention and that of others with a new trailer that’s already garnered over 22 million views as of a few days ago.

Agent Agni is on a mission to stop human trafficking and change the world. What will happen when she comes face-to-face with Rudraveer, who is equally strong-willed?

This trailer is about as kick-ass as kick-ass gets, and features Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi star Kangana Ranaut leading the charge in every violent and vengeful way possible in the 2.5 minutes of exhilirating footage we’re getting. The action sequences are also apparently done by Indian stunt stalwart Parvez Shaikh (War) along with Brett Chan’s Hitz International (Warrior, Marco Polo) and Korean stunt multi-hyphenate Oh Sea-young who’s surely made a name for himself overseas also working the stunts and action on Luong Dinh Dung’s March actioner, 578 Magnum.

Dhaakad hails from Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd and opens in Indian cinemas on May 20, and beyond that, I think I’ve said enough as the trailer pretty much does the rest.
