578 MAGNUM Trailer Teases A Fistful Of Thrills With A Vengeance!
Screen Anarchy‘s Andrew Mack has the goods on award-winning Father And Son director Luong Dinh Dung’s third film to date, 578 Magnum. A new trailer is now out and available with English subs following a previous trailer launch back in January ahead of its forthcoming Vietnamese release this month.
Directed from a script also by Dung with cinematography by Morgan Schmidt (Furie), and featuring action sequences by Oh Sea-young (War, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, The Suspect, The Yellow Sea), 578 Magnum stars French actor Alexandre Nguyen in the lead role of Hùng, a container truck driver whose close bond with his young daughter, An, suffers its biggest blow yet. Upon learning of An’s residual depression from having been kidnapped and sexually assault, Hùng thrusts himself into the criminal underbelly to seek justice against An’s psychopathic attacker, and the massive number of underworld forces standing in his way.
The film reportedly opens on March 25 in Vietnam, while I’m willing to bet with full confidence that a certain Texas-based distributor is ready to pick this bad boy up for the U.S. at the right time. This trailer delivers, and I’m ready for more!

Hat tip to Andrew for the push!
