I don’t know about the rest of you but I’ve about had it up to my forehead with all the debate and furor surrounding anything Star Wars. Though they share deservedly devout meaning and love from fans, the furor behind the fandom can be invariably exasperating most days as much as they’re just film’s – indeed, in all simplicity, they really are just movies. Love them or hate them.

Solo: A Star Wars Story, fans will undoubtedly get to weigh the pendulum come the film’s arrival on May 25. I know I’m still not completely behind the casting of Alden Ehrenrich in the title role but I’m not about to start a full-on petition to have Disney reshoot the movie scene-for-scene with Anthony Ingruber instead. Despite all
previous behind-the-scenes ballyhoo during production, if Alden and co. delivers this, cool. If not, then it’s not exactly worth joining the Dark Side over. I’m just saying.
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
I’ll say this much however: The official trailer looks pretty dope, albeit a bit upgraded in some ways from its more analog roots with Harrison Ford’s more dated setting but then again all the new films seem to have this unavoidable trait. Still, it took lord knows how many parsecs of travel time to finally see it and here it is. Nice work Ron!
