Disney is planning to take you and your family back to the European Middle Ages.
According to a Deadline exclusive, this live-action family-adventure is called Knights and
“will follow a headstrong young woman who joins a knight on his quest to destroy a world-threatening artifact before it falls into the wrong hands.”
Matt Orton (who wrote Operation Finale) is working on the screenplay and will likely hit theaters rather than Disney’s upcoming streaming service. Disney’s live-action executives Jessica Virtue and Chaz Salembier are overseeing the project.
