Set to launch on Netflix beginning August 8 is Lebanese action drama, Dollar, featuring actor and comedian Adel Karam (Adel Karam: Live From Beirut) and Algerian/Lebanese actress Amal Bouchoucha. Renowned Syrian director, Samer Berkawi (Al Hayba, Half Day) is shepherding the series from a script by Hisham Hilal.
Set in modern day Lebanon and billed as “a true Middle Eastern production”, Dollar sees Karam in the role of Tarek, an advertising mastermind tasked with cooking up a million dollar idea for a bank launch – exclusive only to its CEO. Bouchoucha tackles the role of its young CFO, Zeina, who must put the pieces together when things mysteriously don’t quite add up.
The 15-episode series is produced by leading Middle Eastern firm, Cedars Art Production – Sabbah Brothers.

Dollar will be stream on Netflix from August 8, subtitled in 20 languages to 148 million members in over 190 countries.
