A small change to the title of actor and producer Alexander Nevsky’s inaugural Western now leaves us with an official look at Gunfight At Rio Bravo, thanks to an all-new trailer following its exclusive debut over at JoBlo. Its sequel remains pending following its announcement earlier this month.
In the film, Nevsky plays a mysterious Russian gunslinger who aids a marshal and a sheriff as they stand up to a bloodthirsty outlaw gang known as The Hellhounds who have invaded their small East Texas town. L.A.-based Premiere Entertainment Group acquired worldwide rights to the Joe Cornet-directed pic in which is screening for buyers at the Cannes market.
Cornet also co-stars with a cast that lists Matthias Hues, Olivier Gruner, Natalie Denise Sperl, Kerry Goodwin, John Fallon, and Anna Oris round out the key cast.
The film was produced by Nevsky for Hollywood Storm. ETA Films’ Eric Brenner and San Rafael Productions’ Joe Cornet served as executive producers.
PEG CEO and President Elias Axume announced the deal which he brokered with Nevsky. Premiere’s slate also includes Shrapnel with Jason Patric, Black Warrant with Tom Berenger, and Blowback with Randy Couture.
