Asian Film Strike on Twitter scored some curious eyes earlier this week with the teaser poster reveal for Dragon And Tiger Struggle. Gary Mak (Undying Heart, SDU: Sex Duties Unit) is set to the direct the pic which is on its way to production, according to the latest CCTV6 updates via YouTube.
What’s more is on casting, presenting a bevy of talents listing Eric Tsang (The Adventurers, Golden Job), Andy On (Kung Fu League, A Witness Out Of The Blue), Ray Lui (Flash Point, Firestorm), Collin Chou (Flash Point, The Four), Shi Yanneng (Master Z: Ip Man Legacy, The Heart), Leung Kar Yan (Ip Man 3, Bloody Destiny), Danny Chan Kwok Kwan (Ip Man: The Finale) and Chen Zhi Hui (Saving General Yang, Jet Li’s Fearless). Plot and story details are unknown though the film is being billed as a wushu sports drama which, according to a general translation from our own Yi Liu Christina, focuses on promoting the virtues and spirit of wushu from a more puritanical angle for today’s practioners.
