Initially starring Nguyen with actors Sahajak Boonthanakit and Gary Daniels, the film saw its early days under the title, Angels back in 2012. This year, following a small series of reshoots and added scenes with the addition of Ninja: Shadow Of A Tear lead action duo Scott Adkins and Kane Kosugi, the official poster and trailer have now arrived for the new iteration of the film ahead of the film’s U.K. release in October. With any luck, we will hear some more release news of a wider release very soon with the film’s seeming appeal to more global audiences, particularly for Adkins‘ fanbase as well.
Bangkok, Thailand. The body of a naked and bound young woman (Angel) is discovered on the Chao Praya river. A senior Royal Thai Police Department detective arrives on the scene and is horrified to discover that the victim is the daughter of one of his oldest friends, Johnny – a man whose friendship goes back to earlier days when both were CIA surrogates.
