ENDGAME: Andy Lau Assassin Comedy Lands This Month In Select Territories From CMC Pictures

YouTube Poster

CMC Pictures has slated a February 18 release in North America for director Xiaozhi Rao’s new crime dramedy, Endgame. The official trailer is up and running as well with release dates set for February 12 in Singapore, and February 25 in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Andy Lau, Yang Xiao and Qian Wan head up a cast for a story of utter high jinks when an accident at a bathhouse encourages an unlucky, suicidal theater actor to trade places with a slip-and-fall victim, only to find himself having taken on the identity of a professional assassin.

A bit of trivia for you in the meantine: Endgame marks the third and latest incarnation of such film since 2012’s Key Of Life, directed by Kenji Uchida who co-penned the 2016 remake, Luck-Key, with Jang Yoon Mi for director Lee Gye-beok.

I’ve only seen Luck-Key which I can attest is a pretty fun watch, and Endgame doesn’t seem all that deterring. Check out the trailer and hit up CMC Pictures for more information.
