On Thursday, Deadline‘s Anthony D’Alessandro exclusively confirmed the additions of Golden Globe winner, Colin Farrell, and Academy, Golden Globe and Grammy Award winner, Common, for the production of action drama, Eve. The film hails from Voltage Pictures and Freckle Films joining both actors with actress Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty, Interstellar) who was attached to the project about a month ago.

Tate Taylor (The Help) is directing the film which rolls cameras in Boston on September 24. Details are being kept under wraps for the film though earlier reports at Collider hinted at Chastain starring as Eve, a ruthless female assassin on the run from her former employers. The new report confirms Farrell will play the role of Simon who leads the black ops organization that Eve works for while Common will play Chastain’s ex-fiancee, Michael.

Voltage, whose Nicolas Chartier and Dominic Rustam are producing, is fully financing Eve and repping world sales. Chastain will also produce with Kelly Carmichael via their Freckle Films banner with Voltage’s Jonathan Deckter is executive producing.
