'The Expendables 3' Co-Stars To Produce Action Drama, 59 ROWS OF TEETH

A fourth Blade movie may be all the hype right now for many a patient Wesley Snipes fan. That doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be anything else interesting involving him, but quite the opposite with word on a new project he’s producing with Awaken star, actress Natalie Burn.

The film in question is 59 Rows Of Teeth, an independent action drama peppered with Taken and Bourne franchise elements. As Tracking Board states, Peter Iliff, who wrote Kathryn Bigelow’s 1991 pre-reboot hit movie, Point Break, sets the script in New Orleans where a young “street soldier” on the run from police is forced to choose between his mentor, his surrogate crime “family”, and a 13-year old runaway girl they have enslaved.
Snipes’s Maandi Media Entertainment will be joined by 7Heaven Productions, the production shingle owned by Burn, reuniting the two since appearing in seperate scenes in director Patrick Hughes’s The Expendables 3 in 2014. Neither appear to be starring while the search for a cast and a director are now underway.
Burn has a number of films coming down the pipeline this year including appearances in Ariel Vromen’s Criminal this April and Dennis Gansel’s Mechanic: Resurrection. For Snipes, formerly of NBC series, The Player, an adapation of author and actor Raul Julia-Levy’s unpublished family action adventure novel, Chronicles Of The Mayan Tunnel, remains pending.
