FLESH OF THE GODS: Elizabeth Olsen Joins 80s LA Thriller From ‘Mandy’ Director

Elizabeth Olsen (Wind River, Marvel’s Avengers saga, “WandaVision”) has joined Kristen Stewart (Love Lies Bleeding) and Oscar Isaac (Triple Frontier) to co-star in the new thriller, Flesh Of The Gods, from director Panos Cosmatos. XYZ Films are repping world sales at Cannes this month with domestic rights co-repped by CAA Media Finance and WME Independent.

Flesh Of The Gods is set in glittering 80’s LA, and centers on married couple, Raoul (Isaac) and Alex (Stewart), who descend each evening from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into an electric realm of city nightlife. When they cross paths with the mysterious and enigmatic Nameless (Olsen) and her hard-partying cabal, Raoul and Alex are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills, and violence.

Cosmatos storied the film with Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, The Killer) who penned the script. Adam McKay and Betsy Koch of Hyperobject Industries are producing alongside Isaac and his Mad Gene Media partner Gena Konstantinakos for Mad Gene Media.

Flesh of the Gods will be the fourth and latest collaboration for Cosmatos and XYZ following Nicolas Cage thriller, Mandy, as well as upcoming Miley Cyrus musical film/visual album, Something Beautiful – which Cosmatos helped produce and will bow at the Tribeca Film Festival in June, and upcoming horror sci-fi Nekrokosm with A24.

Also on deck for the XYZ Films sales slate are Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia’s Banquet, Babak Anvari’s SXSW standout thriller Hallow Road, and The Trip starring Jason Segel, Samara Weaving, Juliette Lewis and Timothy Olyphant, which is currently in post-production, as well as the latest Netflix release, Havoc, upcoming Al Pacino/Dan Stevens supernatural thriller The Ritual, and the aforementioned Something Beautiful.

Olsen is repped by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
