Gabriel Carrer’s The Demolisher is still on my watchlist. Provided I can find it, it’ll likely be my entry into his work in the last several years just as he stakes his next efforts with Reese Eveneshen (Defective) for action horror, For The Sake Of Vicious.

Toronto-based genre specialist Raven Banner announced the new project which starts rolling cameras on October 4, and centers on a nurse and single mother whose late arrival on Halloween Eve leaves her in the crosshairs of violent intruders. Lori Burke stars with Nick Smyth and Colin Paradine.

For The Sake Of Vicious is described as “relentless, punch-in-your-face action horror” and stars Lora Burke as a nurse and single mother who returns from a late shift on Halloween to find a maniac hiding out with a hostage.

As a wave of violent intruders descend upon the neighbourhood and lay siege to her home, the nurse soon realises the only way out of the situation is to become as violent as everyone else.
