Seeing as Ryan Reynolds isn’t quite done yet owning 2019 as Netflix readies the release of Michael Bay’s 6 Underground, he’s got the platform this weekend over at Fox with director Shawn Levy setting up this summer’s action comedy adventure, Free Guy with the first trailer.
In Twentieth Century Fox’s epic adventure-comedy “Free Guy,” a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late.
Reynolds is joined by Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and oft-director, actor Taika Waititi who can honestly play anything he wants in any movie he pleases. I’m serious about that.
